Mission

The Bishop’s Academy at Most Holy Rosary (Pre-K – 6th Grade), an educational ministry of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Syracuse, continues the mission of Jesus Christ by proclaiming the Gospel as a model for Christian living. Located within the Most Holy Rosary Parish, in the heart of the Strathmore neighborhood, the school serves Syracuse area families of all faiths who embrace the philosophies and values of the Bishop’s Academy at Most Holy Rosary.

As established in 1915 by the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, the tradition of academic excellence continues. The curriculum is based on an integrated course of study aimed at exceeding New York State Educational Standards while promoting spiritual growth in a physically and mentally nurturing environment.

A sense of responsibility to reach out in service to others is instilled in Most Holy Rosary Students. To foster lifelong success, the school integrates morals and values in a warm, caring, safe, family-oriented atmosphere.
