MHR Faculty and Staff

Mrs. Barbara Holzhauer has a BA in Music and a BA in Theatre with professional studies from Oswego, LeMoyne, and SU. She is also a NY State certified Music Teacher for k-12. Her learning objectives are aligned with the NYS Standards for music education with the addition of  several public performances that engage students and build confidence. Students perform at two school wide concerts and participate in performances for the Sunny 102 Christmas Show, the Syracuse Crunch games, the Skychiefs games, and the Naturalization Ceremony at the Federal Courthouse. “My music classes engage all students. This allows them to develop intellectually, morally, and spiritually while increasing their skills and their confidence.”
