There are many wonderful activities planned for the coming year. If you cannot be an officer, please become a part of PTC, and our school family, by volunteering for a one-time event. We need chairpersons, as well as volunteers for such activities as Grandparents' Luncheon, Opening Day of School Welcome, Open House, Room Parent, Taste of Strathmore Fundraiser, Playground Volunteers, Playground Upkeep, Teacher Appreciation Week, Book Fair, and Literacy Night, and Media and Development. Catholic Schools Week is a grand week, and there are many ways to help and volunteer.
Please make a one event commitment for the 2012-2013 school year. The spirit is catching, and the rewards are great. Get involved, get to know and socialize with your child's friends' families, and make MHR an even better place for your child. Parental involvement has been researched and proven to increase school confidence and performance.
